INTRODUCTION

Through the recent years the technological development in the field of robotics and cybernetics has grown tremendously. robotics has come a long way, from being a story to a reality.

The concept of cyborg was born in 1960's. It was introduced by two NASA consultants trying to solve the problem of keeping humans alive in the hostile conditions of outer space.

Nathan Kline and Manfred Clynes proposed that rather than trying to construct earth like environment for humans to live in, why not try to alter and modify humans themselves.

In science fiction, the most stereotypical portrayal of a cyborg is a person with mechanical added parts.

however cyborgs can also be portrayed as looking more robotic or organic. they may appear as humanoid robots, such as Robotman from DC's Doom Patrol or most varieties of the Cybermen from Doctor Who

Cyborgs may have mechanical parts or bodies that appear human. For example, the eponymous Six Million Dollar Man and the Bionic Woman (from their respective television series) have prostheses externally identical to the body parts that they replaced.

we are going to learn more about cyborgs as we go deeper into research. lets see what awaits us 👾.
